Solo rower Roz Savage arrived at the Waikiki Yacht Harbor after 99 days at sea. A throng of fans, supporters, and reporters were on hand to celebrate the historic journey across the Pacific.

The "Kodomo No Hi" Keiki Fun Fest at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii. An early island celebration of Japan's "Children's Day," with arts and crafts, food (including KC Waffle Dogs), demonstrations and performances, and formal kimono dressing for kids.

"Ha - Breath of Life," the new night show at the Polynesian Cultural Center (Hawaii’s top paid visitor attraction) in Laie. My wife and I, along with several others, were guests of the center as part of a "social media night."
