In this scene from the action movie Skyscraper, featuring Anna Nicole Smith and her son, Daniel Smith, Anna Nicole shows she's more than a match for a gun-toting intruder. The intruder breaks into Smith's apartment and forces her to the top of a skyscraper, where he is going to depart with her and her son in a helicopter. A friend tries to save Anna Nicole and her son, but the intruder shoots him. At this point, Anna Nicole shows off her karate skills and sends the intruder over the edge of the building to his death.

Smith was pronounced dead at a Florida Hospital February 8, 2007 after she was found in her hotel room unresponsive and rushed to the emergency room. Smith's son, Daniel, died of a drug overdose in Smith's Bahamas hotel room a few days after she gave birth to her daughter, Danielynn, who is now the subject of a Paternity law suit. Smith was thirty-nine years old.

The peak of the Romanian Revolution was highlighted by the takedown of Communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. Ceausescu was one of the more brutal dictators as he imposed strict laws including forbidding Romanians from contact with any foreigners, wiretapping phones at will, censoring all press and media outlets, and imprisoning any potential elements of resistance.

Thousands of Romanians stormed the communist headquarters in Bucharest on December 21st, 1989. In one of the more memorable moments of Communism's last breaths, Ceausescu waved his arms in an undecipherable manner in response to the relentless boos from the crowd. In a feeble attempt to escape with his wife in a helicopter, the chopper was stopped and Ceausescu was apprehended.

Him and his wife would be put on trial, and ultimately executed on Christmas Day in 1989.
