Honeybee swarm at CSU May 9, 2007 Check out this video I shot of a honeybee swarm that occurred on the Colorado State University campus yesterday. The end is purely for your entertainment as I got a lil' close and had to "back off" in a hurry (didn't have a bee suit on)! In the bee's defense it was all my fault. They were minding their own business and I had to go all "paparazzi" on em! We collected the hive (after I made em angry we had to put bee suits on) and it is now being taken care of by the C. P. Gillette Entomology club! Swarms are way cool! No wonder I like insects so much! There were at least 10 swarms around Fort Collins yesterday.
