A period piece by and about women, Wrestling takes place in 1959 as the country is transitioning from the idyllic 50's into the turbulent 60's. Reflective of this are the lives of three women living together in a boarding house. Maddie, a teenage girl whose on the brink of adulthood facing choices with her unexpected pregnancy. To her help comes Claire, a war widow unable to cope with being alone. Together the women find strength to move on and make the choices necessary to improve their lives.
