The Next Mayor project is an innovative, two-year multimedia partnership to focus on the issues - not just the personalities - leading to the 2007 Philadelphia mayor's race. It was created by the Daily News, WHYY and the Committee of Seventy. We took what we what we learned from our travels around the region and identified 16 different issues that are important to the people of Greater Philadelphia. Tune in as we convene panels of experts to talk about those issues. They'll let us know how other cities are tackling those same problems and they'll make suggestions to the next mayor.
