SpongeBob is going to have the best day ever. First he gets to work at the Krusty Krab.  Then he is going to meet Sandy for a little Ka-Ra-Tay, followed by jellyfishing with Pat, and Squidward's clarinet recital.  But the day does not go exactly as planned.  Each of his friends is having a problem which SpongeBob naturally sets out to solve.  But this costs him every item on his perfect agenda.  When a disappointed SpongeBob realizes that his entire day has been sacrificed, his friends rally around him to give their thanks and make sure his day really is the best ever./It's Best Friends Day and SpongeBob and Patrick trade Best Friend presents.  SpongeBob presents Pat with a fancy robot, and Patrick gives his favorite Sponge his most prized possession, an enormous ball of used chewing gum.  SpongeBob is touched. This gift is the coolest thing in the world.  However, once he finally fits the giant wad of gum into his house, it slowly starts to creep him out.

SpongeBob finally applies for a job at the Krusty Krab / SpongeBob finds the perfect use for his high powered reef blower / SpongeBob meets Sandy Cheeks for the first time

SpongeBob eats some sea onion ice cream and his breath stinks. When people avoid him, Pat offers "maybe it's because you're ugly." Together, they devise various ways to hide SpongeBob's hideous face./When the Krusty Krab gets a modern make-over, SpongeBob worries about his job.

When Sandy lets SpongeBob watch after her pet caterpillar, they think it will be all fun and games. But when the caterpillar grows into a butterfly overnight, they think a monster is loose!/SpongeBob's new, multi-colored Krabby Patties are a real hit with the customers of the Krusty Krab.

While trying to wrestle open the cap off of a tube of toothpaste SpongeBob accidentally punches himself in the face leaving behind a hideous black eye.  Too embarrassed to tell anyone the truth behind the shiner, SpongeBob makes up a tale about a fight with a giant thug.  But unbeknownst to SpongeBob, the bully in his story really exists, and he is not happy about this fictitious rumor that’s going around about him. Plankton has brainwashed Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy!  With the dynamic duo under Plankton’s control, he orders them to wreak havoc on the Krusty Krab.  It’s up to SpongeBob SquarePants and his trusty spatula to save the day!

Fleeing from SpongeBob and Patrick's consistant noise, Squidward winds up frozen./SpongeBob and Sandy's incessant Karate sparring is starting to wreak havoc in the Krusty Krab.

SpongeBob and Patrick try to help Sandy rid her Tree Dome of fleas. When Patrick accidentally takes SpongeBob’s donut he is wracked with guilt over his heinous crime . During an evening of washing dishes at the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob battles a persistent speck of food that is affixed to one of the dinner plates.

There's trouble brewing in Bikini Bottom. Someone has stolen King Neptune's crown, and it looks like Mr. Krab, SpongeBob's boss, is the culprit. Though he's just been passed over for the promotion of his dreams, SpongeBob stands by his boss, and along with his best friend Patrick, sets out on a treacherous mission to Shell City to reclaim the crown and save Mr. Krab's life.
