The 2nd Annual HBCU Alumni Cruise (http://www.HBCUalumniCruise.com) took place during Memorial Week - 2005, sailing from Miami to Cozumel, Mexico with a stop in Key West. The HBCU Alumni Cruise brings together young Black college graduates from all over the world, in a celebration of the Black College Experience. But it is more than a party on a boat. Think of it as a meeting of the minds. Think of it as the rebirth of optimism, the reclaiming of dreams deferred. The HBCU Alumni Cruise helps young Black graduates and professionals to Work Hard, Play Harder, and Give Back. Beach Olympics was one of many events designed to encourage camaraderie, team spirit and pride. The 3rd Annual HBCU Alumni Cruise will sail during Memorial Week - 2006.
