CUSICK, Wa--The Pend Oreille County Sheriff's Office says an Eastern Washington University student was tied to the back of a pick-up truck and dragged to this death in a remote area north of the small town of Cusick, WA around 11:30 p.m Saturday. Deputies say they have arrested Wendell Sinn, Junior from Newman Lake, WA. The victim is 20-year-old Jerid Sturman-Camyn. He was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at EWU. The Sheriff's Office says Sinn was camping with eight other people off LeClerc Road outside of Cusick when Sturman-Camyn, who is a mixed martial arts fighter, lost his temper and threatened people at the campsite. Sinn said he told a 17-year-old boy at the campsite to get into his truck, start it and be ready to leave if things got bad because Sinn was afraid for his safety and those at the campsite.
