This was one of the campaign commercials that I had to do on a daily basis Val and me would shoot the footage either in the morning or afternoon...sometimes at night...and than take the footage back to the production house in EL Paso, TX edit the footage and deliver the final cut to the news station NBC 9 El Paso, TX down the street in downtown EL Paso and have it ready by 8 o'clock at night to air on the 10 o'clock news during the first commercial break every night for 3 months leading up to the election for Texas State Senator in the year 2006. And with these commercials he was not only able to get some exposure but beat a real tough Republican opponent Dee Mago, because he was Shapleigh, the Democrat was able to get 92% of the vote as opposed to Dee Margo's 8% in the 2006 election! Which meant, for every $1 million dollars Dee Margo Spent he was only able to get 1 percentage of the vote. Thus proving that Republicans can't always win with a lot of money in their...
