Two dogs married in the Peruvian capital city of Lima on Thursday (October 04) to mark World Animal Day and to promote animal care. Dana and Puki's wedding took place surrounded by their loved ones - dog guests and their pet owners at a local park in the Miraflores district. A priest blessed all attendees with holy water, in the name of the patron saint of animals, San Francisco de Asis. The event took place to create awareness and encourage pet owners to care for and love their little creatures. Dana's owner said that she hopes for many puppies. "She's married, now I'll have many dogs," she said. Three-year-old bride Dana wore a gown, while the 2-year-old dog-groom Puki looked very smart in a suit and top hat.
