These are Nellie and Howie’s third litter born on 11/12/07. The seven puppies were three weeks old on 12/2/07. They were given their first puppy food and are developing their unique personalities. The puppies walk, often toppling over, rolling around to get back on their feet. They are sleeping in smaller heaps and alone. The puppies are discovering their littermates and often play, and lick their littermates’ tails and ears. They are starting to react to each other, sights and sounds. They will “bark” in response to hearing our other dogs barking. We code our puppies by a collar color and refer to them by their color code. The Pink female puppy, first born, now weights 40 ounces. She is very interested in being with the litter and enjoys being held tightly. The Green male puppy weights 36 ounces...
