Mount Etna Erupts

May 7: Streams of lava shoot more than 600 feet into the air as Italy's Mount Etna erupts again. It was the volcano's third eruption in 22 days.

CBS News RAW: For the sixth time in two months, Etna has erupted, produced two lava flows and explosions dozens of feet high. Etna, in Sicily, reportedly exploded four times on Oct. 23.

Mount Etna in Italy erupted Monday, sending jets of molten lava over 600 feet into the air, but not threatening nearby residents. Etna's last major eruption was in summer 2001.

Mount Etna in Sicily erupted Friday night but by the next morning, the lava was gone and everything was back to normal.
