Missing Parents Case Now Homicide Investigation 4/4/06 Noon Yusila Ramirez Miami police now believe the mother of a 4 year old girl found abandoned on a Liberty City street was murdered by the girl's father, an act the girl apparently saw and described to police. Monday, a car which had been owned by that man, Benave Jean-Louis, was found on a Homestead street, but neither he nor the mother, Renose Jean-Baptiste, have been found. Police say a major break in the case, which they now call a homicide investigation, was found near Vicar Auto in Homestead. The owner of that business, Victor Arno, said he purchased the car from a man believed to be Jean-Louis Friday, for $1200 cash. He told CBS4's Gary Nelson the man appeared to be nervous. Arno said the man had a bandaged hand. Investigators were able to trace Jean-Louis to the Anhing Motel in Homestead, where he apparently spent the night Friday.
