This is the company I worked for, it was an Inuit company called Kitnuna Construction. This is their equipment, shop and yard in Cambridge Bay. I worked for them for around 2-3 months over a summer. This is only 1/3rd their fleet. The rest is scattered all across the Arctic on jobs. The roster board in the shop is incredible on the fleet they own. Starting from the front of the video, this is the story with each machine you see here: -John Deere 344E, new loader, just arrived on the barge from Hay River, NWT -That the foreman's house in the background and the shop. A nicely setup shop may I add. -International TD25B 1 of 2 salvaged from the DYE-4 Cape Hooper East Baffin Island project. US Air Force left them along with other stuff in a debris dump. They got them running and this is one in for a rebuild. -Hitachi UH123 excavator. Came to Cambridge Bay when it was new, in for its 3rd undercarriage. It'll get sent out to a camp somewhere. -Kitnuna offices in the background. Recycled...
