A free Sunday means run away to the wilds of the Kansai hills!! With June comes Japan's rainy season, so there aren't too many more nice weekends to go hiking. I just went for a quick hike on Mt. Maya which is part of the Mount Rokko chain. It was a pretty chilled out hike as you can see. Some nice little shrines, houses, waterfalls and other things along the way. Yes...another hiking vid and I have to proudly admit that I love hiking. So far, from what I gather and have seen...Japan is a pretty damn nice place to hike and enjoy the outdoors! I'm hoping to get to Mount Fuji in mid-July and in the early Fall...maybe the Japan Alps in the Nagano or Shizuoka areas! We'll have to see.
