Frustrated by never having a matching pair of socks, Jacob investigates the inner workings of the dryer and discovers that it is actually a portal to a parallel universe. A universe so topsy-turvy that Buford has a day-timer, the bullies are his best friends, and socks are used as currency. Jacob and X. Barnaby Dinglebat hatch a plan to get Jacob back to his proper dimension. Unfortunately, Dinglebat is Jacob's foe in this upside-down world, and if Jacob meets his doppelganger, the matter anti-matter collision might destroy them both -- which is the very thing Dinglebat is trying to arrange. Luckily the 'real' Dinglebat arrives in the nick of time to help Jacob out of this tricky dilemma.
