Especially for those who enjoy a good nature hike and are interested in getting to know the ruins of El Fuerte (the Fortress). The hike starts at Samaipata´s Agua Dulce Mountain. The first part takes three hours of intermediate hiking by the Cerro Redondo (rounded hill) to Los Alisos peak, Tumbas Viejas (old tombs), and Loma Larga (long hill). We continue on until we reach the tiered waterfalls of El Fuerte brook where we will have lunch after a refreshing stop in Orquid´s Canyon. After lunch, 3 more hours of intermediate hiking await us.
