There's a happy ending after someone carjacked a Meals On Wheels van earlier this week.The van belonged to the Don Bosco Center. It was carjacked Tuesday at Lexington and Brooklyn avenues. Police said a man approached the van and pointed a gun at the driver's head. The carjacker took the keys and sped away in the vanThe driver was in the middle of his deliveries and still had 20 meals from the center, along with about $2,000 worth of equipment.Thursday, the center got a new van and several thousand dollars in donations.The Kansas City Transportation Group donated a Ford van to the center.The Meals on Wheels program serves hundreds of Kansas City residents every day."Our entire staff was sitting around and we know how important the meals are -- the deliveries to the seniors -- and we all just looked at each other and said, 'We have to do something.'
