In this long-a-waited Christmas Special The Doctor plans to visit Planet Menicalice to seek help for advice on an alien investigation but the Tardis has other plans,sending him back in time to 1871 Christmas Day for a reason only Machinery could detect. He meets a woman named murray walters, and she becomes a victom of planting the Christmas Detenation, when the real culpret hides deep inside the metal depths of oblivion.
