They are both born into working class homes with both a mother and a father. They are both born into homes where Religion is not a part of life. They aren't theist or atheists - they are non-religous, secular. At the age of 5 both are attending Kindergarden and both prove to be of above average inteligence. At the age of 10 both are in the fifth grade and both still seem to have a lot of intellectual potential. They are both well liked at this point. Friends; class mates at the same public school. However, two years later, when the two are in the seventh grade pueberty kicks in. Roger becomes anti-social. He makes a conscious effort to tune people who care about him out.
