Police Say Man Was Shirtless, Exposing Self December 13, 2007 MIAMI -- A Miami police officer stunned a man with a Taser gun and shot him in the arm during an incident at a Burger King on Wednesday night. According to witnesses, a shirtless man was acting crazy and taking customers' food inside the Burger King at the intersection of Biscayne Boulevard and 17th Street. Store employees called police and the responding officer, a 10-year veteran of the Miami Police Department, observed the man acting irrational and exposing himself. Police said the officer ordered the man onto the ground, but he refused to comply. "The guy actually gets down but then gets back up and is acting in a kind of deranged manner," Miami Police Chief John Timoney said.
