A nice and flexible way of turning your contour lines from AutoCAD lines into a 3d mesh using Modo’s tools. As well as the export settings to move from AutoCAD to Modo.

Using Modo’s built in calculation input fields to scale the model properly. Using the material selection mode to alter the model height levels.

Eliminating problematic areas and naming the surfaces for use in model editing.

Continuing the modeling stage and setting up the edges for bridging.

Finalizing some modeling details and aligning all the normals.
