The footage in the center was shot on the evening of November 14th from around 11pm to 12:30am. It is a documentation of the surveillance cameras installed around the city of Baltimore and the buildings they reflect upon. In tying the three videos together a dialogue starts to emerge out of the interplay between sound, image, and perception. The Baltimore Club Beats that fuel the frenetic dance moves of the individuals featured in the far left video, begin to sync up to the pulsating klaxons of the surveillance cameras; while the actions of violence and agression that occur in the video on the right interact with the energy of the music in a far more disturbing contrast between expressing/confronting ones emotions via dance and doing so via violence.
