Chemist In Training Busted With Ecstasy Lab 3/9/06 10PM Art Barron Miami Beach Police, assisting the DEA, have uncovered the first ever Ecstasy lab in South Florida. The drug lab was busted this morning in an apartment on 11th Street and Alton Road on Miami Beach. According to the DEA, this lab was making about 10,000 pills a day, which could bring in about $250,000 dollars a day. One person is now in federal custody facing charges. He's a 32 year old Miami Beach resident. Agents found the equipment and material used to make Ecstasy which is typically made in Europe.
