Ms. Bancou was a close friend of Carson during the latter part of her life. Her vibrant and touching interview included stories that related the public and private McCullers. The etching of Carson is the original Vertes that was a gift to Ms. Bancou and now belongs to the McCullers Center at Columbus State University in Georgia. All of my research material and raw footage from the film will be presented to the McCullers Center as well.
