BOSTON CELTICS WIN 2008 NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BOSTON — Going into the 2008 NBA Finals, it seemed the Los Angeles Lakers had all the advantages over the Boston Celtics: nine-time champion coach Phil Jackson, younger, spryer legs, a better bench and the man everybody loves to call "the best player on the planet," Kobe Bryant. Across the USA, experts predicted a Lakers victory; some thought they might even do it in five games.
